Taman Impian Jaya Ancol is one favorite destination in North Jakarta. Constructed by PT Pembangunan Jaya, it has several famous attractions, and one of them is the Gondola, a cable car ride that allows you to see a glimpse of the beach from above. Frankly, this was the first time I ride the cable car here. I couldn't stand the long queue back then, that's why I always passed this ride over. Unexpectedly, I couldn't turn down the desire to ride it. And fortunately the queue was short, and I could get in without any time wasting. It's not my first time to ride a cable car, but it still felt exciting. The view was beyond my expectation, and I kinda liked it. Too bad the ride ended so quickly, I wished it had a longer route.
Not far from Bandung, there's a town of Purwakarta. We passed that town in the way to Jakarta, and we decided to stop by to see the famous the dam: Jatiluhur Dam or Juanda Dam. This reservoir is harboring water from Citarum River, and has purpose as a power plant and also a recreation park now, since it's surrounded with beautiful scenery. This is a good spot for family vacation, if you like enjoying humble nature. On the deck. Viewing deck. The touch of the tree. Wall of confession. The turbin.
