Still Eid Theme

I remembered my  Eid-ul Fitr journey in 2010 to the lovely town of Purworejo, Central Java, so I uploaded some photos when I was there. We prayed in a small mosque in a small village, and went around the town at night. It was one of my wonderful moments. Becak Bone marrow soup, one of the town's most favorite delicacies.

Eid-ul Fitr in a Glimpse

We just celebrated Eid-ul Fitr 1433 H in August 19, and I had the chance to pray in a field near Al-Azhar Mosque in South Jakarta. It's amazing because I could visit the mosque  and took a sight of some activities outside afterwards. The Eid Sunrise Ready to pray. Cuddling With Mommy. After the prayer. A Brief Moment in The Golden Dome Mosque

To celebrate the festive Ramadhan which will end in a few days, I decided to upload some photos that I took couple years ago. When I looked over my photo collection last night, I found these pictures that I took when I visited Dian Al-Mahri Mosque aka Masjid Kubah Emas or Golden Dome Mosque, back in February 6, 2010. The grand mosque is located in Depok, West Java, and known as it's decorated by gold in several parts. Since it's open for public in December 31, 2006, this place has became a must-visit item for most moslems in Indonesia.

Around The Fatahillah

In January, 24, 2009, I had a chance to pass by Fatahillah Museum. It was in the early morning, so the museum was still close. But the environment still fascinated me. There were some old buildings which still stood from the past, when the city of Jakarta was still occupied by the Dutch. The morning scene was splendid here. So, I wandered around for a while outside the museum, taking in everything in the past. :) The Museum, already swarmed by people who held some morning activities .
